This Lied Duet was founded by the Swiss soprano and the Spanish pianist Carolina Rodríguez de Guzmán in 2011 at the Hochschule für Musik Basel. The duet concentrates on classical Lied composers like Schubert or Schumann, but also on modern ones like Strauss, Szymanowsky and contemporary like Heinz Holliger.

In 2016 the two musicians won the second prize in the "Internationaler Othmar Schoeck - Wettbewerb für Lied-Duo", being retransmited on the SRF Radio and getting to know at a deep level this Swiss composer's music. Since then, the duet has been invited to give concerts in Switzerland and Germany.
